In this section we will demonstrate how to upgrade your Nuke Evolution Basic installation to the Xtreme version.

Before proceeding with the Nuke Evolution Xtreme upgrade, we will recommend you to create a full backup of your script. In this way you will be able to restore it in case the upgrade fails.

In order to start the upgrade, you should download the latest Nuke Evolution Xtreme package from the official web site. Extract the archive on your computer.

Then you should delete the current Nuke Evolution files and folders from the server using cPanel ->FileManager or through an FTP Client. After this upload all the files from the html folder located on your computer in the Nuke Evolution folder on the server. Also, upload the upgrade package from the upgrades/Evo x.y.z – x.y.z Xtreme/ folder. Change x.y.z with the exact version of your Nuke Evolution installation. Upload the config.php file from your backup overwriting the same file of the Xtreme package. Delete the install directory and the install.php file from the newly uploaded package.

Open the config.php file and write down the database name, the database user and the corresponding password. You will need them during the upgrade procedure.

To initiate the script upgrade, open the upgrade.php file stored in your Nuke Evolution folder through a web browser.

For example, if you have uploaded the Nuke Evolution files in a folder, named nuke, use a link like the following one:

http://yourdomainname.com/nuke/upgrade.php

If your Nuke Evolution web site is the main one for your account and you have uploaded the files directly under the public_html directory, you should access

http://yourdomainname.com/upgrade.php

Replace yourdomainname.com with your actual domain name.
